The largest building in the world by volume is The Boeing Everett Factory, in Everett, Washington. With a volume of 472,370,319 cubic feet (1.7495e+7yd³) and an area of almost 100 acres (40 ha 4685.6m2), it was originally built for the construction of the Boeing 747.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the largest sausage was made by J.J. Tranfield on behalf of Asda Stores Plc, at Sheffield, United Kingdom in October 2000. With a length of 36.75 miles (59.143 kilometers), it’s almost the width of Rhode Island.

The largest thermometer in the world is 134-feet-tall (40.843m) and was built by businessman Willis Herron in Baker, California. The thermometer is supposed to serve as a memento of the highest recorded temperature in the U.S. measured in nearby Death Valley – 134 degrees Fahrenheit (56.6 Celsius) in 1913.

Located in Nackawic, New Brunswick, Canada, the world´s largest axe stands 49 feet tall (14.9m) and weighs over 55 tons (49t 895.16kg). It was commissioned, designed and built in 1991 by a company in Woodstock. This giant axe symbolizes the importance of the forest industry in the region.

The world’s largest motorcycle was built by Gregory Dunham in 2005. Called “Dream Big“, the 11 feet tall (3.35m), 20 feet long (6.09m), 6,500-pound (2948kg 350.17g) monster bike took him 3 years of crafting. In spite of its giant dimensions, the bike is absolutely ride-able.
